Pokémon GO's latest major update expands the progression ceiling: the Trainer level cap increased from 50 to 80The company has completely adjusted the experience curve, so that leveling up will be more agile and with more frequent rewards, something similar to guides on how to go above level 80 in other titles.

With the new system, leveling up will be more dynamic: The required EXP has been rebalanced and incentives have been added to keep moving forward without feeling stuck.
When the change takes effect, your Total accumulated EXP will be applied to the new progression curve. This will automatically determine your position in the new level range.
- No one will be demoted; adjustment can only keep you up or propel you upward.
- If you are a level 23 or higher, you will gain at least one level automatically.
- The level up tasks 41-50 are removed and relocated as new requirements for 71-80.
- You will receive retroactively storage and cosmetic increases corresponding to levels already exceeded.
Important: This change affects the Trainer level, does not modify the level or power of your Pokémon.
Daily Adventure Egg: 10.000 XP for a short walk

Beginning 15 level, Every day you log in to the game you will receive a Daily Adventure Egg. It will be placed in a exclusive incubator and will not take up space from the rest of the eggs.

Please note that certain avatar items of levels 40-50 will no longer be available after the update; if you acquired them before, they will remain in your inventory, including the Level 50 Jacket.

Amongst the levels 71 and 80 EXP will not be enough: You will have to complete specific research tasks to unlock each level.
The Coaches of level 70 or higher will have a higher chance of becoming Lucky Friends with those who are already Best Friends, facilitating bonus trades and social progression.
