Taking advantage of the fact that Hopper knows that The Demogorgon fears fireThey manage to defeat him and escape with Dmitri's help.
When they finally reunite, they contact Owens' ally in the United States and discover that Hawkins is on the verge of collapse. With no way back, they decide to attack from where they are: If they harm the hive-mind connected creatures in Russia, they will weaken Vecna. and they will give the boys in Indiana a chance.
The plan against Vecna and the final blow to Hawkins
With all the pieces in play, the group devises a multi-pronged plan. In Hawkins, Dustin and Eddie take charge of attract demonic bats who protect Vecna's lair in the Upside Down by playing loud metal, while Nancy, Steve, and Robin infiltrate the Creel house to burn his physical body.

The price of the operation is extremely high.
